I have had this problem before back in April when Flash did not work on some websites while using Incognito. The solution I found was to go under Chrome flags and select the option of 'prefer HTML over flash.' I did that and the problem was fixed. Now, that flag is no longer there.
In this case, Google Chrome will not update Adobe Flash Player-- all updates are done manually by the IT admin (for example, re-deploying Adobe Flash Player updates via Adobe's newer MSI packages). If the Component Updater is left enabled, Chrome will choose to use either the Adobe Flash Player MSI dll or the Chrome plugin (whichever is newer). Jump to Google Chrome - You see 'Control-click to run Adobe Flash Player'. Click on 'Click to enable Adobe Flash Player'; At the top left click 'Allow' to.
I keep telling the websites I visit to enable Flash and it does not do anything. I have tried to download it again and it still did not work. I have been desperately trying to get Flash to work, but it was entirely fruitless. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem?.
For some reason Flash will not run in Google Chrome's Incognito window, even if I do allow it to run. I know it has something to do with the version of the Chrome browser.
(I'm on a Mac, if that matters) and I have seen settings for disabling Prefer HTML Over Flash, but I can't find it on my browser. Can someone please help? It would be a huge benefit. Often when I search something up on google on my Mac, and i click a link, it opens up in a new tab and the old tab turns from google search results into bing search results. How do I fix this. I've run a malware program(Malwarebytes) and I fixed the detected malware, but it still often occurs.
I've been instructed to go to settingsadvanced settings content settings and scroll to find the 'flash' section but there's no flash section.
